Students will be encouraged to work on projects that reflect their interests, typical projects might include: designing a chamber music summer program the WPS, virtual art exhibitions with the WAM or presenting an exhibition of their own art works at a local gallery, exploring new digital technologies for streaming live performances with the Music Worcester, composing a work for a student ensemble in the WPS, curating and/or presenting concerts (both live and virtually) at venues such as the Worcester Pop Up or the Sprinkler Factory. Because of the pandemic, artists are turning more to new streaming technologies to present their work-this course will explore these emerging technologies in conjunction with the community-based projects described above.
